OAL (Giamatti) baseball used from the contest in which Hall of Fame closer Goose Gossage, as a member of the Chicago Cubs, recorded his 300th Save against the Philadelphia Phillies. On the ball Gossage has written in blue "300", "SAT. AUG. 6, 1988", "T-2:51", "A-32,057", and an inning by inning line score of the 7-4 Cub victory. Gossage later signed the ball in black with the inscription "HOF 2008". Ball displays excellent game use.
