Presented here is Goose Gossage's personal Baseball Hall of Fame plaque, the actual award that was issued to the legendary closer at his induction ceremony in 2008. This presentation piece is a smaller version of Gossage's metal plaque that rests on permanent display at the Hall. Weighing nearly five pounds (The metal plaque component, alone, has a substantial 1/2" thickness.), the gorgeous metal and wood plaque measures 6 1/2" by 8 3/4". Markings on the back note the National Baseball Hall of Fame copyright and proprietary statement.
