American Baseball Cap Size 7 1/4" New York Yankee batting helmet game worn by Hall of Fame closer Goose Gossage during the 1981 regular season and post season. Gossage had a very good year in 1981 for the Yankees, going 3-2, with 30 Saves and a microscopic 0.77 ERA in 32 games. He was also named to the American League All-Star team. Batting helmet displays heavy game use with marks and scratches. Gossage has signed the top of the bill in perfect 9-10/10 silver felt tip pen.
