Upon the occasion of the National League's 75th anniversary in 1951 (it was also the 50th anniversary of the Junior Circuit as well), the Baseball Hall of Fame presented legendary star George Sisler with this elegant Longines 14-karat gold wristwatch. The back of the face of the watch features engraving that reads: "George Sisler, Hall of Fame, N.L. Anniversary,1876-1951." The face of the watch largely devoid of any issues, with no scratching to the crystal and barely revealing even modest surface wear from expected normal usage, and would appear to be in working order. The expandable gold-and-silver Speidel wristband is likewise in excellent condition. Comes with a Letter of Authenticity from the Sisler Family.
