Canadian George Chuvalo is considered one of the best all-time heavyweights the country has ever produced. With a professional career that began in his teens, he fought against the greatest boxers in his time, including Muhammed Ali (twice) and George Foreman. Yet in 97 fights, Chuvalo was never knocked down. He is often considered to have had the greatest chin in the history of boxing and to be one of its most durable fighters. The offered gloves were fight-worn by Chuvalo in a bout vs. Boston Jacobs on November 21st, 1966 in Detroit, Michigan. Chuvalo knocked Jacobs out in the third round. The vintage Everlast fight gloves retain excellent display quality with both gloves having been painted in the period with the details of the fight.
