Former major league catcher and ’72 World Series MVP Gene Tenace served as a coach for the Toronto Blue Jays in 1992. This lot includes his highly desirable '92 Toronto Blue Jays World Series ring which commemorates not only the club's first World Championship, but the first World Series played on Canadian soil. The 14K gold ring, manufactured by Tiffany, features the club's "Blue Jay" logo on the front with a red maple leaf incorporated into the design. A large diamond represents the bird's eye. Sixteen smaller diamonds surround the logo. "1992 World Champions" is lettered in relief along the bevel. One shank features the 1992 MLB World Series logo resting within a maple-leaf display. "Toronto Blue Jays" is lettered above the logo, and "Canada's 1st" below it. The other shank features the American League logo. His last name "TENACE" is lettered above, while the number "4,028,318" (the club's league-leading attendance figure) appears below. "Tiffany & Co./14k 685" is engraved on the interior band. A fine piece of sports memorabilia that truly represents a Canadian first!

Includes Letter of Authenticity from Gene Tenace.
