Drafted by the San Diego Chargers in the 15th round (120th overall) of the 1962 AFL Draft, Fred Moore played all of his three year career with the Chargers. These three successful years included two AFL West titles and an AFL Championship in 1963. Offered here is Moore’s 1963 San Diego Chargers AFL Championship ring. Stamped “Jostens 10k” on the interior, the white gold ring features a large blue football shaped stone on the top with a diamond at the center. The words “San Diego Chargers 1963 World Champions” surround the perimeter. The left shank shows the Chargers shield logo in relief with the Championship game score “San Diego 51 Boston 10” bannered above. The right shank features the name “Moore” bannered above a football player in relief as well as the visage of the state of California. The ring shows only light to moderate wear, retaining impressive visual quality. Size 10 ¾. EX-MT condition.
