The longest tenured broadcasting trio in Monday Night Football (MNF) television history was comprised of Frank Gifford, Al Michaels and Dan Dierdorf. It was in 1987 when football Hall of Famer Gifford and longtime sports broadcaster Michaels were joined by Dierdorf, thus returning the series to its original concept of three announcers in the booth. Dierdorf would eventually be inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 1996. The trio would last for 11 seasons through the conclusion of the 1997 season. This lot includes an official Wilson NFL (Tagliabue) football signed in silver by the trio on the same panel. The signatures are all strong and rate 9/10. A fun, historical piece of sports memorabilia for any MNF fan!
Pre-certified by PSA/DNA.
