This colorful grouping of 20 First-Day Covers boasts 23 signatures from various Hall of Famers, most on single-signed FDC's all virtually Nr-Mt and problem free. The signatures are typically ballpoint or black or blue markers, mostly 8/10 to 9/10. The lineup includes: Carl Yastrzemski, Lou Brock (2), Red Schoendienst, Al Barlick, Monte Irvin, Willie Stargell, Al Kaline, Ralph Kiner, Bill Terry, Frank Robinson, Duke Snider, Carl Hubbell, Lefty Gomez, Enos Slaughter, Billy Williams (2), Lou Broudreau (2), Johnny Mize (2) and Robin Roberts (2). The other four autographs are: Babe Dahlgren (2), who once filled in for a Hall of Famer; Don Larsen, who tossed a World Series perfecto that is well represented in Cooperstown; and Maury Wills, who ought to have his own plaque in the sleepy little Central New York village.
