Joe Frazier wore this hooded orange robe, embroiderered "Smokin Joe," with "Everlast" label that reads "Made Expressly for Joe Frazier." Frazier and Quarry met for the first time in 1969, when both were in their prime. Frazier took out Quarry in seven rounds with Quarry bleeding severely from a cut and his eyes closing.

By 1974, Frazier had lost his heavyweight crown to George Foreman and both he and Quarry had suffered defeats in bouts with Ali. Frazier wanted another shot at both Foreman and Ali and Quarry stood in the way. Both were past their prime and many journalists predicted a Quarry knockout victory. However, Frazier demonstrated both his determination and left hook, battering Quarry even worse than in their 1969 bout, scoring a TKO in the fifth round. Condition: Frazier's robe is in excellent overall condition, with minor wear from use and some soiling. Included is an LOA from Joe Frazier attesting that this is the robe that he wore when he fought Jerry Quarry on June 17th, 1974.
