Incredible signed 8" by 10" photograph of Jim Thorpe, one the the finest all around athletes in the history of sport. Bold, dark green perfect looking 9-10/10 "Best Wishes from Jim Thorpe 1948" in the upper right corner. The image used is the same as the Thorpe card in the very popular 1955 Topps All-American football issue. Photo has been beautifully framed and matted with a nice "Jim Thorpe of Carlisle -1912-" identifier at the bottom. Older frame will probably need to be replaced as the black paint on the right side has started chipping away.
