It is difficult to fathom the investment of time and other resources that went into the assemblage of this astounding collection of 577 autographed photos. What is equally astounding is the constant thread of stunning aesthetic quality throughout due primarily to the photographic genius of George Brace, one of baseball's most renowned photographers, whose lens captured each and every image. All of these 4" x 6" black and white photos features a "Brace Photo" label adhered to the reverse. The images are mostly from the late 1930s to early 1950s that were reproduced from Brace's original negatives some time ago. It is a unique and vastly comprehensive archive that could likely never be replicated. Most are NM to NM/MT photos with bold "8-10" ink, felt tip or Sharpie signatures (a small amount somewhat lesser). Some are signed "To Wayne" and there are a few duplicates in the mix.
