The 1952 New York Yankees continued their franchise string of consecutive World Championships by defeating the Brooklyn Dodgers in their fourth subway series. This original panoramic team photograph of the perennial champs features 33 players and coaches, 31 of whom have autographed the photo across their images. This photo originates from the personal collections of Yankee player Irv Noren who is featured in the image standing 13th from the left. Among the prominent names who have signed the photo are Noren, Houk, Blackwell, Lopat, Collins, McDougald, Kuzava, Sain, Raschi, Silvera, Woodling, Dickey, Stengel, Crosetti, Mize, Martin, Rizzuto, Berra and, anchoring the right side, sophomore, Mickey Mantle. Seven Hall of Famers are represented in all and only two players did not sign the piece. Charlie Keller, who only played in two games that year and Hank Bauer.

The contrast is crystal clear on the 8" by 39" display. The fountain pen autographs average 8/10. The framed photo appears Near Mint except for a few slight border wrinkles. This was the core of the postwar Yankee dynasty that won 10 league titles between 1947 and 1958. This magnificent display is not only the ultimate photographic representation of one of the most important teams in Yankees history, it also carries the additional weight of originating from one of that team’s star players. Full LOA from PSA/DNA.
