Offered is a remarkable sepia toned photograph showing the Giants in home pinstripes during their National League pennant winning season. Image (8.5"x20.5") remains affixed to the original 11"x12" mount which is captioned with a team/year identifier and player identification last names. Included in the photo are some of most prominent stars of the period, including: Christy Mathewson, John McGraw, Rube Marquard, Wilbert Robinson, and Chief Meyers. The piece presents in fine condition overall, with only very minimal wear and some light toning. It is one of the foremost early 20th century New York Giants photographs, of which only a handful are known to have survived.
