Beautiful 8-9/10 black ink signature on a government postcard of infamous Chicago Black Sox pitcher Ed Cicotte. Cicotte was the starting pitcher in the opening game of the Series and hit the first batter to let the gamblers know the fix was in. "Yours Truly Eddie V. Cicotte" autograph rests below a nicely cut magazine photo from his days as a player. EX-MT condition postcard is postmarked 1/31/55. Slabbed PSA/DNA Certified Authentic.
