This classic Denver Broncos throwback (circa 1961) complete uniform, including jersey, pants and socks, was worn by wide receiver Eddie Royal in an October 11, 2009 home game vs. the New England Patriots. The Broncos beat the Patriots 20-17 in an overtime thriller that saw Royal catch 10 balls for 90 yards from quarterback Kyle Orton. With dirt and grass staining from Invesco Field visible on the front and back of his gold Reebok size 44 A jersey with brown tackle twill numbering, Royal's busy day is well documented, especially on the upper back and left chest area directly covering the AFL 50th anniversary patch. The size 28 Reebok brown pants with gold stripes show less visible wear from staining, but the stretching and pulling from the Patriots secondary is evident as is the aroma of sod. The black and gold socks show sweat stains and have been laundered. All the appropriate tagging is present on the Reebok jersey, including "09-44" and "A" tags on the collar. Jersey, pants and socks are in essentially problem-free condition. Includes tagging on the inside of the waistband from J.O. Sports attesting to game use in the 10/11/2009 game against the Patriots.

Comes with LOA from the Denver Broncos.
