OAL(Johnson) BB signed, probably in the early 1920's, by Babe Ruth and 8 other players, all of whom began major league play before 1920. All have signed on side panels. The other players are: Henry Courtney(1919-1922), Ed Holly(1906-15), Waite Hoyt(HOF)(1918-38), Joe Judge(1915-1934), Val Picinich(1916-33), Frank O'Rourke(1912-31), Sam Rice(HOF)(1915-34), and Al Schacht(1919-21). Overall 7/10 black ink signatures with the Ruth more 7-8/10 in quality. Ball has darkened somewhat over the years with some scuffing but signatures remain strong and readable. A non-baseball signature is also present on the sweet spot.
