ADDENDUM: The Ruth signature is about 3-4/10, Gehrig 2-3/10. Among the other readily identifiable signatures are Johnny Murphy, Dixie Walker, Myril Hoag, and George Pipgras.
Babe Ruth, Lou Gehrig and some of their colleagues from those great Yankees clubs in the early 1930's penned their signatures to this red-and-blue stitched Official American League ball. Time has taken its customary toll on both the ball and the signatures, but Ruth's elegant script is still visible with a bit of effort; Gehrig's with a bit more. Other than the discoloration that you might anticipate from aging and some scuffing that roams about several panels, the baseball remains an intriguing artifact from the final period of one Yankee Dynasty as another approached on its heels.
