Circa 1900's 13" by 18" publication advertisement issued by W.D. Boyce Co. to recruit boys to sell publications for the firm. One side features an array of prizes that boys can earn by becoming "Boyce Boys" including sports equipment. The opposite side features testimonials on one half and an advertisement for Christy Mathewson's lesson on pitching the "Fade-Away" on the other half. A large image of Mathewson appears on the right side and small photos of "Five Other Stars" appear on the left including Johnson, Walsh, Rucker, White and Wood. The entire piece appears to have been the centerfold in a large format magazine. The piece has three horizontal and one vertical fold line. Otherwise, EX condition.
