The late Don Drysdale was a standout right-handed pitcher for the Brooklyn/Los Angeles Dodgers who was elected to the Baseball Hall of Fame in 1984. Drysdale posted a career mark of 209-166 in the majors and struck out a total of 2,486 batters during his 14-year tenure in the bigs. This lot features a lightly used Spalding Don Drysdale Professional Model 100% Nylon Stitched glove straight out of Don Drysdale's personal collection. Though the mitt only shows minimal usage. it does mirror the same model Spalding glove from
Lot 41 that Drysdale used extensively during his career with the Dodgers. With a firm pocket that is slightly broken in, this "Don Drysdale Personal Model E-Z Flex" (#42-203) glove is ready to add to some lucky collector’s personal collection!
