Game used baseball from the August 23, 1958 contest in which the Los Angeles Dodger Hall of Fame right handed pitcher hit both his 6th and 7th home runs of the season off Milwaukee Braves left handed pitcher Juan Pizarro, to tie the National League record for pitchers. In the game Drysdale pitched the Dodgers to a 10-1 complete game victory. He tied the record again in 1965 when he also clubbed 7 round trippers. On the ONL(Giles) baseball Drysdale has inscribed "7TH HOME RUN TIES PITCHERS RECORD FOR H.R. IN ONE SEASON 1958". Ball displays good game use.
Includes LOA from the Drysdale family.
