Following his playing career with the Dodgers, right-handed flame-thrower Don Drysdale eventually came back to the team in 1988 to work as a radio broadcaster. It’s a position he held with the team until his untimely death on July 3, 1993, at the age of 56. This lot features a special sterling silver season pass that Drysdale was awarded for the 1990 Dodgers’ campaign. Measuring 4.25” wide by 3.25” high, the specially engraved pass reads: “Welcome to Dodger Stadium – 100th Anniversary Dodgers 1890 - 1990 – Season 1990 Pass.” It includes Don Drysdale’s name engraved on it as well as the signature of Dodgers’ team owner Peter O’Malley. Big D’s uniform number “53” finishes off the front of the sterling silver pass. The back of the pass, which comes packaged inside its original Tiffany & Co. felt box, reads: “TIFFANY & CO. STERLING.”

Includes LOA from the Drysdale Family.
