This striking pair of Size 13 Dan Marino game-worn Nike shoes feature white leather and canvas/nylon mesh interwoven with a bright orange leather "harness" overlay with cutout Swoosh logos on both sides of each shoe. The tongue, outer tongue housing and laces are black,and the Marino No. 13 is handprinted on the lower heel of each. Traditional grass field cleats adorn the underside and the black interiors sport the Nike size and coding swatches. The style was was worn only briefly in the preseason of 1996; it was intended for use during the regular season, but the injury to Marino's foot in early 1996 and subsequent use of a customized right shoe rendered its styling obsolete. Black Sharpie signatures on each shoe have unfortunately faded to the point of invisibility. Other than the observations noted, the shoes are largely as-issued and problem free, and each comes with a similarly unmolested Adidas black shoe bag.
