In 1988 Laettner participated in the McDonald's All-American game, representing the East. He had a remarkable high school journey and continued his success as a starter for Duke University for four years under the mentorship of Coach K. As the team's standout player in his final two seasons, he played a pivotal role in leading the Blue Devils to their first two national championships. It is worth mentioning that Laettner also made significant contributions to the team's second-place finish in his sophomore year and their appearance in the Final Four during his freshman year. Laettner was selected as the third overall pick in the 1992 NBA draft after his time at Duke.
Presented here from his personal collection is Laettner's Game Worn and Signed All-American jersey from that game in 1988. A representative from SCP authenticated and photographed Christian Laettner's signature, and its authenticity is guaranteed to withstand any third-party verification.
