Featured here is an Official League Ball signed by two of the greatest New York Yankee sluggers of all time, Babe Ruth and Lou Gehrig. Babe's signature occupies the traditional sweet spot position and rates a 3-4/10 in terms of condition and clarity while Gehrig's signature occupies the panel west of the sweet spot. Gehrig's dark black ink signature is impressive rating a strong 7/10. The loop on Gehrig's "G" is incomplete and there are a few spots of wear that affect the signature. Some spots of wear also affect the Ruth signature on the sweet spot. An additional signature belonging to Hall of Famer Leo Durocher, who spent his first two Big League seasons with the Yanks (1928-29), is on the panel east of the sweet spot and rates a solid 7/10. Ball is moderately toned with some scuffs throughout, giving the ball a slightly two-toned appearance. The Ruth/Gehrig combo makes this ball exceptionally desirable.
