This lot offers one of the most unique items in the sports memorabilia realm in this Wilt Chamberlain personally owned and heavily worn two-piece disco suit from the 1970s. The full leather suit is one-of-a-kind and certainly large enough to fit Wilt's 7'1" frame. Both the blazer and the suit bottoms are affixed with horse hair and feather tassels for extra flair. A stone affixed with leather is in place of the blazer's button, matching the style of the eccentric suit. This suit certainly aligns with Chamberlain's larger-than-life attitude and can be photo-matched to multiple images of Wilt enjoying the nightlife in the 70s. Some locations and instances of Wilt donning the suit include the Inglewood Forum, the Playboy Mansion, on the cover of his autobiography, "The Possible Dream", as well as Sports Illustrated. The suit remains in wearable condition (assuming you are 7-foot tall) and remains in good condition other than some staining that exists throughout.

Originally surfacing from Chamberlain Collection in Sotheby's Auctions in the early 2000s, the suit has remained in private hands until now. An excellent opportunity to own one of the most unique and important pieces of clothing from the Hall of Fame personality, on and off the court.
