ADDENDUM: Due to the possibility of signature removal according to PSA/DNA, we cannot be certain this ball was "single-signed."

Taking the reins as captain, catcher Thurman Munson was a key part of the New York Yankees return to the top in the 1970’s. Munson was AL Rookie of the Year in 1970 and didn’t stop there, winning three Gold Gloves and an MVP in 1976. The seven-time All Star and heart & soul of the Yanks led the club to two World Series titles before he was tragically killed in a 1979 plane crash.

This nearly snow white Official League baseball is signed and inscribed, “To Ellie Best Wishes,” by Thurman Munson. The lovely black penned autograph rates a solid 7-8/10, and there appears to be an indication of ink removal on the sweet spot. Includes full LOA from PSA/DNA (AG01421).
