Wilt Chamberlain is arguably the best basketball player and greatest physical specimen that the NBA has ever seen. With his 7’1” stature during his playing career from 1959-1973, he was often the tallest player on the court, able to dominate any opponents that got in his way. The list of accolades and records go on-and-on anywhere from his unbeatable 100-point game to averaging 50.4 PPG for an entire season. Chamberlain was a one-of-a-kind player in the NBA and we won’t be seeing anyone as dominant as he was in the near future.

Offered here is a fresh to the market and extremely rare circa 1953-55 original photo of Wilt Chamberlain during his high school days at Overbrook High School in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. This photo titled, “10 Feet and Still Climbing” shows Chamberlain finishing a layup, while the defense doesn’t stand a chance at stopping him. This original photo can put into perspective the sheer dominance that Wilt possessed while on the basketball court, even from a young age. He finished his high school career with more than 2,200 points in just three varsity years. “The Big Dipper” was a very special player in 1950s high school basketball Encapsulated by PSA/DNA as Type 1 Authentic (Certification #: 84178443).
