Ty Cobb was one of our National Pastime's early immortals. The left-handed wizard batted over .300 for 23 consecutive seasons, stole home 54 times, and struck out just 680 times in 13,103 career plate appearances (exactly 5%)--all records that will never be broken in modern baseball. The gritty, hard-nosed competitor certainly rubbed some of his peers and many opposing fans the wrong way with his on-field antics, but nobody wanted to win as badly. He was the teammate you wanted to go to battle with on the diamond, attracting a loyal following of Detroit Tigers and MLB fans alike throughout his playing and managerial days. His legacy lives on through his coveted memorabilia and vintage cards that continue to appreciate in today's market.

Offered is a spectacular high grade single-signed baseball from Cobb. The Official American League ball was signed by the Georgia Peach in striking black ballpoint pen. The penmanship from Cobb remains in at least 8/10 condition. An impressive addition to any Cobb collection.
