Behold a really nice circa 1920's Official American League Ban Johnson baseball that proudly boasts of signatures from Babe Ruth, Lou Gehrig and their festy manager, Miller Huggins. The ball itself is in remarkable condition, with only a modicum of the toning that you would typically expect, nice preservation of both the quality and the color tones of the red-and-blue stitching and only a smattering of scuffing that barely distracts from the presentation. Ruth signed on the sweet spot in a signature that is clearly visible though harassed a bit faced ink and some scuffing. Babe's quotation marks around his nickname are easily discernible, as is much of his last name, and the full autograph leaps out with a bit of careful examination. Gehrig and Huggins are on opposite ends of the other panel, with the former an even stronger autograph than the Babe's, with all elements visible and no detracting scuffs. The Huggins autograph is perhaps the lightest of the three, but still easily discernible.
