Baseball and cultural icon Babe Ruth got royal treatment just about everywhere he traveled, including in this 1920's Minneapolis Journal Type I photo when a team of uniformed girl ushers (from The Pantages Theater?) welcome a beaming Bambino to town. It could possibly be from November 1926 when Ruth was noted to have been in Minneapolis and done some vaudeville at The Pantages.

PSA has nicely encapsulated this 8" X 10" original photo, with the customary stampings and markings noted on the back. MINNEAPOLIS JOURNAL PHOTO is embossed in small lettering in the lower right hand corner of the image.
