Impressive original photograph of the New York Highlanders baseball team captured by Paul Thompson and deemed Type I by PSA. The circa 1912 photograph remains in excellent condition with little to no blemishes throughout and ideal eye appeal. The photograph measures 8"x10" and would be a great candidate for an encapsulation submission. The style of the "NY" baseball sweaters would match the photograph to 1912 rather than 1904 as shown on the PSA paperwork. Fifteen players are captured in the image, walking among Hilltop Park. Players rostered in 1904 include Willie Keeler, Jack Chesbro, Clark Griffith (Manager), and Hal Chase to name a few. The vintage scoreboard can also be seen in the distance in the photo. The verso reads "N.Y. Am. Team coming on the field" and "1905" denoting the year. Photograph Certification: IP17154.
