Beautiful condition Reach Official American League Ball, Patented August 31, 1909. Clean, white ball with very strong dark blue stamping. Reach box proclaims "The Official Ball of the World Series". Sides intact and good shape. Bottom has some damage at center that appears to have happened when box was opened. Top has been torn off but all pieces remain. Original paper wrapping still present. Great piece of baseball history, the same brand of ball used by Ty Cobb, Nap Lajoie, Walter Johnson, Eddie Collins, Tris Speaker and all the other American League stars of the period .
