Jack Johnson is legendary for becoming the first African American world heavyweight boxing champion in 1908. Items signed by the Galveston Giant are hard to come by, and here is one of his sharpest and boldest autographs we've ever seen! This early 20th century 3.5" by 5.5" postcard shows Johnson dressed for success with his gorgeous 9.5/10 (in our book) calligraphy signature and "Yours Truly" inscription in bold black ink underneath the dapper portrait. Includes a full LOA from JSA. Authenticated and encapsulated by PSA/DNA. This piece presents wonderfully and is a must-have for any vintage boxing or autograph collector.
