Former UCLA Bruins basketball standout
Don MacLean wore this sparkling blue road jersey during his prolific
career in Westwood (1989-92) where he still holds the distinction of
being the all-time leading scorer of both UCLA and the Pac-12 Conference (then the Pac-10) with a total of 2,608 points. The 19th overall pick in
the 1992 NBA Draft, he went on to play for seven different NBA teams
over a solid 11-year pro career.
The offered Bruin blue gamer, worn
during the circa 1989-91 period, has "UCLA" blazoned across the front in
gold tackle twill outlined in white. His uniform number "42" appears on
both the front and back of the jersey in similar fashion. His last name--"MacLEAN"--appears across the shoulders in similar fashion. The size 44
jersey includes the proper "W.A. Goodman & Sons" labeling on the
inside rear collar along with a flag tag reading "L" that includes a
hand-written notation in red ink stating (3"). UCLA's trademark gold and
white elastic knit adorns the collar and arm openings. MacLean has
added his signature in black marker as well as his jersey number
inscription (#42) on the numeral "4" on the reverse. Jersey shows light
to moderate game use.
