Right winger Dean Hopkins had an 18 year pro hockey career that included 5 years spent with the LA Kings and Edmonton Oilers. Hopkins wore this jersey during the circa 1982-85 seasons spent with the AHL New Haven Nighthawks when he was between NHL stints. The white mesh home jersey has the New Haven Nighthawks logo on the chest in red, white and blue tackle twill. The collar is trimmed in red and white ribbing with an SK label sewn inside. The waist and sleeves have red, white and blue striping and Hopkins’ number “18” is on the shoulders and back in red, white and blue tackle twill. “HOPKINS” is on a white nameplate in blue tackle twill. A lace fight strap is sewn inside the jersey. There is heavy wear visible with many abrasion scuffs and clubhouse repairs on the body. There is overall toning from age and puckering on the tackle twill graphics from repeated laundering.
