The late, great Willie Stargell was the longtime outfielder-turned-first-basemen of the Pittsburgh Pirates for 21 seasons (1962 to ’82). This lot includes one of “Pops” Stargell’s autographed and game-used Mizuno first baseman’s glove from the early ‘80s. The Mizuno Light Flex, multi-hinge style glove shows plenty of game wear and includes “W. Stargell” embroidered in blue on the outside of the thumb area. Stargell’s severely faded signature in black marker can be seen on the outside of the glove.
