Lot includes five gamers from players who were part of the Detroit Tigers 1968 World Championship roster. Includes:

1. Jim Northrup H&B professional model S2L game used bat. Blonde finished bat measures 35 inches with heavy pine tar, number “5” on the knob in red marker along with “S2L” stamping on knob. Heavy use including rack marks and tremendous grain separation from contact on the barrel. Handle is cracked and repaired by two metal screws.

2. Bill “Gates” Brown H&B professional model P72 game used bat. Measures 35 inches with lots of pine tar. Name “CASH” written on the knob in green marker indicates use by Tigers slugger Norm Cash. Excellent use includes rack marks and ball marks and grain separation on the back barrel. Handle is cracked.

3. Don Wert H&B professional model M118 game used bat. Measures 34.5 inches with letter “W” on the knob in black marker along with “M118” stamping on knob. Moderate use with handle crack repaired by approx. 12 bat boy nails and chipped knob.

4. Willie Horton H&B professional model S2L game used bat. Measures 35 inches with heavy pine tar, letters “MR” on the knob in black marker along with “S2L” stamping on knob. Heavy use including rack marks, ball marks and tremendous grain separation from contact on the barrel. Handle is cracked and Horton has signed the barrel.

5. Jim Price H&B professional model U1 game used bat. Blonde finished bat measures 36 inches with heavy pine tar covering heavily taped handle. Tremendous use including many ball marks, stitch impressions and grain separation from contact on the barrel. Handle appears to be slightly cracked.

Horton bat pre-certified by PSA/DNA.
