July 15, 1942 Clark Gable signed Superior Court, State of California, County of Los Angeles, legal document as Executor of the Carole Lombard Estate. Lombard, Gable's wife and one of the most popular female movie stars in Hollywood, died tragically on January 16th, 1942 in a plane crash while returning home from a World War II bond selling tour. The document authorizes payment to Hollywood agent Nat Wolff "10% net proceeds of any and all funds paid to the Estate of Carole Lombard in contracts held by the decedent covering the following motion pictures: TO BE OR NOT TO BE, MR. AND MRS. SMITH, THEY KNEW WHAT THEY WANTED, EXCLUSIVE, HOWEVER, OF ANY SUM OR SUMS LEGALLY DUE TO MYRON SELZNICK". Perfect looking 9-10/10 Clark Gable vintage black ink autograph. Document itself in great condition.
