This large and beautifully crafted Yankees gold team pin measures 1 5/8" in diameter and features the Yankees top hat logo in red, white and blue enamel on the front. The back is stamped “LGB 1/5 10k”. These pins were presented to Yankees teammates and staff in the late 1950s-60’s and are rarely seen in the marketplace. According to our consignor this particular example was originally obtained from a relative of Clete Boyer. NM condition.
