Charles “Kid” Nichols played 15 seasons in the majors and notched 360 victories over that span, still ranking among the game’s all-time winners. Nichols was an immediate success, and after being signed by Boston in 1890 he won 20 or more games every year for his first 10 seasons, relying almost completely on his fastball throughout his career. From 1890 to 1906 Nichols played for the Boston Beaneaters, St. Louis Cardinals and Philadelphia Phillies. Presented here is a Nichols signed 3.5” by 5” snapshot-sized photo of the photographic display exhibited at his 1949 induction into the Baseball Hall of Fame at Cooperstown. The signature is rendered in bold ink (8-9/10) and the photo itself is in EX/MT condition.

Includes a full LOA from PSA/DNA.
