Basketball Hall of Fame membership card presented to Charles C. Murphy in 1960 and signed by President and fellow Hall of Famer Clifford Hagan. Charles C. "Stretch" Murphy led his high school team to the Indiana State Basketball Championship in 1926 before moving on to Purdue University for the next four years where he teamed up with future legendary UCLA basketball coach John Wooden. Murphy set the Big Ten scoring record in 1929 and Captained the 1930 squad to a perfect 10-0 Big Ten Season. He is considered one of basketball's first great big men. Membership card in beautiful condition. Custom case to hold it has "Charles C. Murphy" in gold printed on front. Slight paper loss on both edges of spine on back. Hagan signature a very strong 9/10 looking blue ball point pen.
