Presented here is a December 11, 1967 Sports Illustrated "Hockey's Wildest Season" magazine (Volume 27, Issue 24) autographed by cover feature Bobby Orr. This was the first ever cover for the Boston Bruins legend, pictured as still a teenager in his white Bruins uniform with the goalie and referee in the background. Orr has autographed the magazine across the white chest of the jersey in perfect black marker (10/10) with his iconic "#4" inscribed for an ideal look. Orr played ten glorious seasons with the Bruins, earning the Calder Trophy his rookie year of 1966-67, three Hart trophies as league MVP, nine All-Star selections, and an unprecedented eight straight Norris trophies as the NHL's top defenseman. The magazine has some minor surface wear and been encapsulated and graded CGC 6.0 Fine, one of just 21 "Universal" copies graded in the CGC Census with far fewer signed versions.
