This image of the Babe is believed to have been captured as he loosened up prior to the 1932 World Series. His girth did not inhibit his classic swing as the photo portrays. This image was apparently favored by Ruth as frequently he signed copies of it in his retirement to satisfy requests for his autograph. His dark ink inscription on this copy reads "To the boys at Merit Farms From Babe Ruth? (PSA/DNA graded 9). The photo has some very light creasing throughout and the right margin has been trimmed (would be imperceptible when matted). LOA from PSA/DNA.
