This blazing white Size 42 Cardinals Ozzie Smith game-worn home jersey from 1996 was presented to Bret Saberhagen by the legendary Hall of Famer. Immaculate tagging on the inside front of the shirt includes Rawlings, Size 42 and Set 1, 1996. The jersey appears to be in essentially as-issued and problem-free condition, with nary a whisper of fraying around the delicate stitching of the famed Cardinals Redbird bat logo on the front, the 'O. Smith" nameplate on the back or his No. 1 front or back, or on Busch Stadium 30th Anniversary logo on the left shoulder. A standout Ozzie Smith Saberhagen black Sharpie autograph appears on the right front of the jersey, with "78-96" inscription added. Comes with a Letter of Authenticity from Bret Saberhagen.
