Worn the season after his first Cy Young Award and his World Series MVP, this snow-white Royals home jersey is an absolute monster from the middle of the heyday of the great Royals teams of the 1980s. The Size 40 Wilson-tagged jersey has an additional "86" tag to the front; the shirt shows good game use but still largely appears in as-issued and problem-free condition, save only for the slight fraying around the stitching of his name and No. 31 on the back. There is virtually no fraying around the "Royals" on the front or around the embroidered Royals logo on the left sleeve or with any of the piping on the collar or sleeves. Saberhagen has supplied an imposing black Sharpie autograph on the lower front half of the jersey. Comes with a Letter of Authenticity from Bret Saberhagen.
