Group of 3 New York Yankee pin stripe Old Timers Game jerseys and pants game worn by former pitcher Bob Turley, winner of the 1958 American League Cy Young Award. Turley had a masterful 21-7 record with a 2.97 ERA in leading the Yankees to the American League pennant in 1958. In the World Series, after a rough Game 2 start that ended in a loss, he rebounded to win Game 5 by shutting out the Braves on 5 hits and pitched 6 2/3 innings of relief to win Game 7 and bring New York the World Championship. Two of the jerseys are made by Majestic Authentic, sizes 48 and 52. One is a Russell Authentic size 52 jersey which contains a 100th Anniversary of Yankee Stadium patch sewn on the left sleeve. The matching Majestic Authentic pants have "Turley 19 40-42 34 09" and "19 Turley 42-42 30 '12 OT" tags sewn inside the back of waistbands. The Russell Athletic pants have a "44/46-30-03" tag sewn in back of waistband. One of the Majestic Authentic combos actually displays some game use.
