Hillerich & Bradsby Louisville Slugger 1958 World Series Bat game used by New York Yankee pitcher Bob Turley, the 1958 American league Cy Young Award winner. Turley had a masterful 21-7 record with a 2.97 ERA in leading the Yankees to the American League pennant in 1958. In the World Series, after a rough Game 2 start that ended in a loss, he rebounded to win Game 5 by shutting out the Braves on 5 hits and pitched 6 2/3 innings of relief to win Game 7 and bring New York the World Championship. Turley had 5 at bats during the Series, producing 1 hit and 2 runs batted in. "WORLD SERIES 1958 TURLEY NEW YORK YANKEES" stamped into the barrel. "S100" stamped in top of knob with Turley's number "19" in black marker also present. "19" in black marker is also present on end of barrel. Bat displays moderate use with ball and bat rack marks present. A small hole has been drilled into top of knob which was used for mounting in Bob Turley's home. Outstanding game used item from the 1958 Cy Young Award winner of that year!
