Hillerich & Bradsby Louisville Slugger 1958 All-Star Game Bat issued to New York Yankee pitcher Bob Turley, the 1958 American league Cy Young Award winner and starting pitcher in the game. Turley had a masterful 21-7 record with a 2.97 ERA in leading the Yankees to the American League pennant in 1958. Turley started the game and had a rough 1 2/3 innings, giving up 3 hits, 2 walks, and 3 runs. The American League came back to tie things up and went ahead in the 6th on fellow Yankee Gil McDougald's pinch hit single, leading to the final 4-3 score. "ALL STAR GAME TURLEY BALTIMORE 1958" stamped into barrel and "S100 stamped on the knob". Bat itself in very nice condition with a little wear, probably from batting practice as he did not get to bat in the game, and a small hole drilled into top of knob which was used for mounting in Bob Turley's home.

LOA from the Turley family.
