Interesting July 13, 1964 player transfer notice given to former Yankee star first baseman by the Washington Senators, notifying him that he had been transferred to the Chicago White Sox. Bill would go on to hit .293 in 73 games for the White Sox, and have 2 more very productive years with Chicago in 1965 and 1966. 6 1/4 by 4 1/4 document is in great condition. Notice has been signed by former big league player George Selkirk, who was the General Manager in Washington.
